Terry Aukes

Terry Allan Aukes, 66, of Lonoke, AR, entered his heavenly home on May 30, 2022. He was born to Janice and Rollin Aukes of Kiester, MN, on January 6, 1956. He married Victoria Ann Jones on January 28, 1978 and they shared 45 years of marriage.

Terry was the owner and operator of A & M Flying Service in Carlisle, Arkansas and a long-time member and Elder of Hope Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Terry found solitude in the woods where he could be found hunting, fishing, spending time with his sons and grandchildren or riding in the side-by-side with his dogs. Terry will always be remembered by his family as a leader, provider, protector, confidant, wonderful husband, father and “Poppy”.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Vickie, three sons Josh (Amy), Adam (Tiffany), and Aaron (Megan), and five grandchildren, Lane, Lyla, Pryor, Ava, and Bear Aukes; his parents, Janice and Rollin Aukes, and his three brothers Randy (Beth), Allan (Morray), and Stephen (Michelle), and several nieces and nephews as well as his father-in-law James Jones. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd & Berdine Loge and Reinder & Anna Helene Aukes, as well as his Mother-In-Law, Kathleen Jones.

The visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 1904 McArthur Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas. The burial service will follow at Lonoke Cemetery.
